Community Events Committee

This Committee is responsible for fundraising for PDSC through planning, developing and organizing community events aligned with the PDSC vision. These events may happen at various times throughout the year and are not part of the weekly programs.

The Community Events Committee shall be comprised of volunteers. The Committee will appoint one of their members as Record Keeper. A Board member will be assigned as a liaison to the Committee Chair.

Responsibilities:

Develop proposals for community events that contribute to the success of, and raise funds for, PDSC.
Plan, manage, organize and co-ordinate the work necessary to hold community events.
Engage the Membership Committee for volunteers.
Engage the Marketing and Communications Committee for promotion of community events.

Meetings: Minimum quarterly. Additional meetings as required.
